About

Alright, alright, here is the obligatory “about me” post. I know, you want to know who is feeding you all this bullshit right? Well here I am…

My name is Sue and I am a SAHM (yes, I used that lame acronym). I am married to an amazing man named “Ski”; we have two delectable munchkins named “Misa Misa” and “Queen B” and a bitter black lab named Champ.

In a former life I was an aspiring pastry chef and I also had a waistline. However as of now, life has directed me down a much different path. One I could have never imagined and will never want to change.

I went from a California blissful newlywed, just starting her career and living her life how she wanted, when she wanted; to a new mother of very intense baby, 3ooo miles away from anything and anyone familiar to her.

Since picking up and leaving everything we have known, at a nice and plump 8 months pregnant I might add, we have brought two delicious little people into this world.

I am just a real mom, trying to figure out this parenting thing as best I can. I have succeeded triumphantly and fallen from grace too many times to count already. All I can wish for is that I don’t end up screwing up my kids too much and that whoever ends up reading this will be able to laugh at motherhood right along with me.

"Ski"

"Misa Misa"

"Queen B"

"Ugh...they are so cute!"

Champ + babies = Bitter Black Lab

My favorite contemporary southern writer is Pat Conroy from the other Carolina. You have some way to go, however, he is pushing 65 by now and has had a lot of practice. Nevertheless, your words are beginning to paint like a fine camel hair brush on clean canvas...soft and strong with complemntary colors, both fine and detailed, and bold and open, shaded and in a bright light to bring realism and inspire others. Keep up the good work. Poppa G
