Growing by leaps and bounds is all I can say for my little Queen B.
Everyday she is talking more, exploring more, learning, more and laughing more and more!
Her laugh can melt away even the grumpiest of grumps. It is one of those things that tickles your heart and no matter how hard you try NOT to smile, you can feel the warmth of her gaze grab hold of you face and your cheeks begin to flush. Then the next thing you know you have been smiling for hours without even realizing it.
She can understand anything you ask her, but whether or not she is going to listen us strictly up to her. She fights with her bother and will stick up for herself when her chicken baby is being threatened. She laughs at her brother’s jokes and will sit for days with her head in a book.
Taking walks with her is like watching a flower bloom; slow, new and beautiful. She takes in every moment and looks at things with a pure innocence I envy. She isn’t hurried, she goes slow and takes in ever sound, every piece of the world that is directly in front of her. When she sees something she likes, her whole face will light up with joy and she will glance up at you to make sure you are seeing exactly what she is seeing.
She is fiesty and stubborn.
Sweet and salty.
Daddy’s little girl.
Mama’s Queen.
She likes what she like and wants it when she wants it and she will fight you to the death if you EVEN TRY to take of her baby legs.
I am lucky because she is mine, all mine and I love it that way.
