be kind

“Why are you the only one who does anything around this house?”

“You should have never become a parent, your kids never listen to you.”

“You aren’t teaching them enough.”

She’s there, she is constant and yes, she is as exhausting as she sounds. She is my inner critic and I am working hard on taming her. She gets in the way of my life and she has got to go.

Resolutions come with the new year and they often go just as swiftly. I usually don’t make resolutions, because I know they are fleeting. This year; however, I do resolve to make one important habit stick.

This year I resolve to be kind.

More specific, kind to myself.

Do you have an inner critic? If yes, how do you take steps at taming her/him?

What are your resolutions for 2012?

Oh girl. We all go thru this. Remember that.

I don’t make resolutions. Not in January anyway. Because I want to better myself all year.

Hope you allow yourself some slack, then kick butt!

I try to remember it, but it slips away easily. I love your mantra of bettering myself all year, even everyday is a chance to make a change! Thanks love!
