The kids and I have nicknamed ourselves the “Traveling Trio“. We have taken the month off from our everyday lives, school and the mundane and traveled cross-country to visit with my parents in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I am very close to my parents and now living so far, in California, it gets hard because I miss them dearly. Taking this time to be with them and let the kids soak them in, as I wish they could more often, is a real treat for me, my heart and my soul.
We got here yesterday, but as always, traveling with little ones is always an adventure. Here is our trip at a glance so far and I know there is more fun to come!

Such great photos! I am thinking of taking the son to Chicago to visit my grandpa when he is 6 months! I will need tips.
